At B&T Lawnscaping, we value our employees. We feel that if we take care of our employees right, they will in turn take care of our customers; helping us create a successful business where we can all prosper and grow together. Therefore, we’ve outlined the following incentives and bonus opportunities to help bolster productivity and give employees both personal goals to work toward, as well as crew goals to achieve:
We offer a $50 bonus for any employee that comes to work on-time, without an unexcused absence consistently for four weeks in a row, including any Overtime that may be required within that period. Excused absences must be pre-arranged with management; you will be told at the time of request, whether the requested absence will affect your bonus so you can decide whether to be out or not.
Employees who consistently achieve their attendance bonus for three months in a row, and perform their job to company expectations will be eligible for a raise. Raises are merit based and will be based both on your attendance, but also on your job performance. You are expected to work hard every day, committing to your crew to do whatever is necessary to help complete all tasks required at each and every jobsite. When your assigned task is complete, pick up another tool and help others to complete their assigned task so the crew can complete tasks more efficiently. You are a team and you’re expected to work together to get every job done to exceed customer expectations.
When crew goals are exceeded we will often buy lunch, or dinner for the crew. You will be rewarded and appreciated for your efforts with B&T Lawnscaping
After 6 months of consistent employment with us without disciplinary action, you will earn one-week of paid vacation. You can take this time in eight hour increments, all at once (as approved by management) or you can receive your vacation benefit as pay.
If you refer a customer to us that results in one of the following, you will receive a $25 Gift Card:
A signed contract for annual business
Project work over $500 in value
Larger projects or Commercial customer referrals will results in a larger bonus based upon ultimate contract value
Out of respect for the hard-working employees at B&T Lawnscaping, we also will have a strict disciplinary policy to eliminate the workers that are not positively contributing to crews. We will not tolerate people that are not pulling their weight on the crew. We expect you to show up to work on-time, look clean and professional, work hard – performing any and all tasks required to help your crew throughout the day, drug free, and with a good attitude. Personal calls, eating and smoke breaks are done in the truck or at designated break times by the crew lead and never on job sites. Failure to adhere to any of these expectations, violating policies, and the damage of company or customer property can result in a warning, up to immediate dismissal, depending on the severity of the infraction. B&T is only looking for hard workers that want to be surrounded by a great group of fun, hard-working people.
